I started working out here 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. The facility is new, clean, and well maintained. The equipment is state of the art and the staff are knowledgeable friendly and always willing to help. The children's play area is a great spot for my daughter and I to go and hangout and run around. I highly recommend this facility to everyone and anyone.
Great place when it's hot out. Gets busy very fast. Like the variety in the depths of the pools.
Amazing facility. We love the outdoor pool and water slides in the summer, and the indoor climbing centre in the winter. The concession serves a wonderful variety of foods. Healthy options and otherwise. Smoothies, sandwiches, fried food. Just wish there was an area to eat and drink by the climbing centre for parents to have coffee while their kids were playing on the indoor equipment.
The Abbey Centre (and specifically the indoor play space) is great for young kids, and even better if you have multiple kids you need to keep an eye on. There is only one way in/out, and its right past the baby play space, so you can let your older kid run free on the indoor climbing structure, and you dont have to worry too much. Never that busy (waaaay less busy than Treehouse!), and such a good time for the price (kids 0-2 Free, 3-7 $5). Bring socks, or they make you buy them (adults included!).
Best place ever to bring your kids! So so good. The problem... everyone in central Alberta knows this too. So it's so packed!!! Please lower your maximum occupancy numbers Abbey Center. It's like a feed lot except no cows to squish by just sunscreen slicked families desperate to find an open space to play.
